Student Performing Arts Tutor
I am currently training at the Shena Simon Campus in Manchester, on my way to achieving my Level 3 Diploma in Musical Theatre.
Musical Theatre is such a great passion for me; I feel all three disciplines offer such great benefits, particularly for young children. For the past 2 years I have been teaching at Take Part and it has unlocked an area of the industry for me that I knew very little about. Now, I absolutely adore helping children find their inner performer and come to life in the classes I teach. There is nothing better than watching a class finally perfect a harmony or bond over a crazy drama game.
Aside from the performing itself, I am very passionate about the children’s wellbeing and strive to make my classes a safe, welcoming environment in which everyone is accommodated for and feels included. Take Part provided this for me and I want to do everything I can to continue that secure environment for its new and current students.
My main interest is singing and there is nothing I enjoy more than having a good belt in my room at the end of a hard day! I really hope to share this enjoyment with my classes and show them how singing can also be a great way to express yourself, unite as a group or release your emotions. I believe everyone is unique and want to encourage students to truly embrace who they are and convey that in their performances.
