Head of Acting & Wellbeing
You will usually find me with a pencil in my hair! I head the Acting Department here at Take Part which means I cover everything from directing shows, to researching and sourcing monologues, duologues, group scenes, and even repertoire to prepare students for Drama School. Not to mention, I have a permanent excuse to play endless drama games: we are ‘merely players’ after all – Shakespeare.
With a BA Honours Degree in Acting from Manchester School of Theatre, one of the highest-ranking Drama Schools in the UK, I have been fortunate enough to develop my craft in stage, screen and radio. Receiving a first in Stage Combat and performing on stage at ‘The Globe’ are two of the many highlights of my Acting career so far.
Combined with my young at heart nature, I strive to provide quality lessons that engage and inspire my pupils. I pride myself in going the extra mile to create bespoke lessons with the specific knowledge, methods and care that an individual needs, unlocking their potential, no matter what their ability. I gauge success in the smiles of my students and will continue to build my ethos:
Prioritise the fun, and the learning will come, as what we learn with pleasure we never forget.
