Hi, I’m Hallie. I’m 15 and I’ve loved being part of Dare to Dream as a performer. Rehearsals have been my favourite part because they helped me grow in confidence and find my voice. One of the moments I’ll always remember is looking after the younger children. It made me realise how much I enjoy helping others and how stepping into a leadership role pushed me outside of my comfort zone in the best way.

Being part of this project has taught me a lot about teamwork and communication. I’ve learned how important it is to support the people around me and to trust myself more. I feel more confident than when I started, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made.

For me, daring to dream means seeing magical things come to life and believing that my future can be whatever I want it to be. Musical theatre has definitely helped me express myself and share parts of my imagination that I usually keep to myself. My next goal is to do the course I’ve always wanted to do and to keep growing in new ways.

Take Part has shown me how important it is to be myself and to surround myself with people who enjoy what they do. It’s a supportive community where everyone wants to be there. I’m grateful for the experience because it’s helped me grow as a person and try things I never thought I could.
