Matilda is a smart, witty character with psychokinetic powers. Her parents Mr and Mrs Wormwood are very cruel to her but her fortune is soon to change once her school teacher, Miss Honey, becomes impressed by her intelligence and appreciates Matilda’s extraordinary personality. However, the cruel headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, is not so charmed by Matilda. Trunchbull hates children and love new creative punishments for her pupils.
