We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to access the magic of leaning into 'life'. Recognising and accepting our differences, finding the resilience to overcome our challenges, and letting our strengths shine through.

What We Do

Care. Dare. Share. Prepare.

At Take Part Wellbeing CIC, we support children, young people and families to grow in confidence, connection and emotional wellbeing.

We know that many children and families are doing their very best — and that at different points in life, additional support can make all the difference. Emotional needs, transitions, neurodiversity, or changes at home or school can affect how children feel, behave and engage with learning.

Our role is to care deeply, work bravely, share responsibility, and prepare children and families for the future.

The Challenges We Walk Alongside

We work in partnership with families and schools to support children who may be experiencing:

  • Difficulties with emotional regulation, anxiety or confidence
  • Challenges with relationships, behaviour or engagement
  • SEMH, SEND or inclusion needs
  • Times of transition, uncertainty or increased pressure

These experiences are not a reflection of failure — they are part of being human, and they deserve thoughtful, compassionate support.

Why Take Part? Your Trusted Guide

We act as a guide, not an authority figure.

With decades of experience across education, family support and alternative provision, we bring calm, consistency and practical strategies that complement the work schools and families are already doing.

We don’t “fix” children.
We care for the whole child, dare to try creative and relational approaches, share the journey with families and professionals, and prepare young people with skills that last.

The Difference Our Approach Makes

When children and families are supported through Care, Dare, Share and Prepare:

  • Children feel calmer, more confident and ready to learn
  • Families feel supported, not judged
  • Schools are strengthened through partnership
  • Positive change is sustainable and long-lasting

Working Together

Take Part Wellbeing CIC works collaboratively with families, schools and local services to ensure children receive the right support, at the right time.

Because when care is consistent, courage is encouraged, responsibility is shared, and children are prepared — everyone thrives.

Strong families create strong foundations.

Our Family Support and Early Help offer is built on partnership and trust, providing:

  • One-to-one family support
  • Parenting guidance and emotional support
  • Help navigating behaviour, anxiety, SEND or life changes
  • Early intervention to prevent challenges escalating

We share responsibility, working alongside families so no one feels alone.

SEMH & Inclusion Support – Preparing Children to Thrive

Children learn best when they feel emotionally safe and understood.

Our SEMH and inclusion work focuses on:

  • Emotional regulation and emotional literacy
  • Confidence, self-worth and resilience
  • Trauma-informed, relational approaches
  • Inclusive support that recognises individual strengths and needs

We help prepare children with the emotional tools they need to engage positively in learning and relationships.

Look out 'cause here I come, and I'm marching on to the beat I drum. I'm not scared to be seen, I make no apologies. This is me.
