My first experience of Take Part was as a 13 year old attending musical theatre classes and, later, performing in plays and taking solo acting exams. Take Part reignited the love for performing that I had when I was younger and made me realise how important having a creative outlet truly is.
But Take Part has taught me so much more than just how to perform, I’ve learnt so many life lessons, developed my confidence, made like-minded friends and Take Part’s incredible staff have supported me through both the exciting times and the harder ones.
Now I hope that I will be able to provide this same support and experience to the children who are coming to Take Part and pass on the skills I have been taught.
I’m lucky enough to say that I do truly enjoy my job!
