World Mental Health Day 2020

10 October – World Mental Health Day

This World Mental Health Day, do one thing for better mental health

The COVID-19 outbreak has had a huge impact on us all. As a result of such a tough year prioritising mental health is very important . That’s why this year Take Part want to bring everyone together to mark the day by each doing one thing for better mental health.

Take Part recognise making positive change can seem hard, especially during uncertain times. It can also sometimes be difficult to know where to start. Take Part have therefore collaborated with ‘Relax Kids’ practitioner, Jo Farrow to introduce a programme designed to help children manage stress and anxiety and build self-esteem.

The Relax Kids Mission

Relax Kids – Creating calm confident children in chaotic times

Relax Kids aims to give children access to a variety of simple, yet effective techniques for relaxation, mindfulness and stress management that are developed and delivered in aa fun and creative way.

We believe that relaxation, mindfulness and a positive outlook are the keys to good mental health, self esteem and emotional resilience.

Our mission is to give children and young people the tools they need to help them manage stress and anxiety and to be more resourceful when facing the challenges of daily life.

We support parents, teachers and those working with children and young people through our quality resources and training.

We want children and young people to feel happier, more positive and empowered with skills for life!

We will be delivering our Relax Kids programme in local schools.  If your school would like a session please book below.
