What We Do and Why
At Take Part Wellbeing CIC, we support children and young people to feel safe, confident and able to thrive. Our work brings together inclusive creative opportunities, emotional wellbeing support and relational practice, helping children build resilience, self-belief and a strong sense of belonging.
We create calm, supportive spaces where young people are encouraged to care for themselves and others, dare to try new things, share experiences and connection, and prepare with confidence for life beyond the session.
Rooted in community and guided by wellbeing, every class and programme we offer is designed to support personal growth, emotional development and positive relationships — allowing children to enjoy the journey while developing skills that last.

Education & Outreach
Education & Outreach – Alignment with Derbyshire Early Help
Take Part Wellbeing CIC works in partnership with schools to provide early help, SEMH and inclusion-focused support for children and young people who may be experiencing emerging emotional, social or mental health needs. Our work is preventative and strengths-based, supporting children and families at the earliest opportunity to promote wellbeing, engagement and positive outcomes.
Our offer aligns primarily with Derbyshire Levels of Need 1–3, providing universal, targeted and early help support that complements existing school provision. We focus on emotional regulation, resilience, confidence-building, transitions and inclusion, using relational, trauma-informed approaches that recognise the whole child within the context of their family, school and community.
We work collaboratively with schools, families and Early Help partners, contributing to coordinated support around the child and helping to reduce the risk of needs escalating. Our role is to strengthen relationships, build capacity and support inclusive practice — ensuring children feel safe, understood and able to thrive in learning and in life.
