Autism Awareness Week

Let’s talk about autism…

Autistic people often feel like they are being shut out of society. Many are living lonely lives, isolated from their peers and marginalised. They struggle to feel accepted for who they are in their daily lives.  At Take Part we feel this needs to change. Difference shouldn’t be an obstacle. Whether it’s in school, in the workplace, at youth groups or out and about in their communities – autistic young people should be celebrated for who they are.

Whether you have autism, know someone with autism or just want to learn more, our amazing student Izzy is here with her fidget spinners to celebrate exactly who she is!

If you want to learn more click the link below to learn about Ambitious about Autism who do amazing work children and young people with autism. Also, if you would like to donate and support the charity click the donate button.

At Take Part we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to access the magic of creative arts and the associated wellbeing benefits that they provide.  Take Part has grown into a fully inclusive, creative community for all who SHARE the passion of performance, and CARE about all their members.
