Lucy is a Performing Arts Tutor / Musical Director at Take Part Glossop. She has also recent joined our admin team and is our new go-to for Glossop customer queries during the week.
Singing has been a lifelong passion for Lucy. She was involved in performing arts and musical theatre growing up and the joy of performing has never left her. Lucy studied popular music and she has been a singer-songwriter since the age of 16.
Lucy gained a PGCE in secondary music after graduating and has since worked in schools in Manchester and London. Through these varied experiences she developed an inclusive and engaging approach to teaching.
A few years ago she moved back to the North West and settled in Glossop with her two young children. Now singing and dancing fill her days with them too, which she tells us, is brilliant!
Lucy is delighed to have joined the Take Part team and have the opportunity to work with the fantastic young people there: “We’re going to have a lot of fun together!”
