Raine Tavernor

Performing Arts Tutor (New Mills Team) - Enhanced DBS (Aug '22)

Headshot of Raine Tavernor

Raine has been with Take Part for seven years and has performed in a range of musical theatre shows, as well as Rockschool performances. Currently she teaches singing to the young students at Take Part every Saturday through our Mentoring Programme.

“I think performing is a great outlet and way to express yourself. Developing your own individuality and confidence, which is especially important for all children. I have loved to sing for as long as I can remember and I extended my passion to song-writing at age 11.”

Raine is 16 years old yet her singing ability, achievements, and her teaching capability tell a story of a very mature young lady.

Raine is currently studying at Manchester BIMM (British Institute Modern Music) on the singer songwriter course. Aside from producing and singing, her favourite instrument to play is piano and and she is learning to play ukulele. She has an array of qualifications, including Rockschool and LAMDA exams in singing, top marks in GCSE music, drama and English language, as well as being the current holder of the Tom Moss Award for outstanding vocals. She also has an album, two EP’s and a few singles in development currently, which she is self-producing. She hopes to start her debut later this year.
